Luxury Hotel near Arles

Arles, Between the Camargue and the Alpilles

With origins dating back to antiquity, Arles offers various Roman vestiges for visitors to discover, as well as numerous tourist sites: the Arlaten museum founded by Frédéric Mistral, the Réattu museum, which houses notable works of art, including drawings by Picasso, and more.

Arles is at the doorstep of the Camargue, the largest wetlands in France and the land of bull ranches, wild horses and flocks of pink flamingos. Arles is also located at the foot of the Alpilles Mountains, the “little Alps of Provence”, with numerous natural and historic treasures.

One of these treasures can be found in the Les Baux valley: the village of Les Baux-de-Provence.

A treasure in the Alpilles: Les Baux de Provence

In the middle of what first appears to be an arid landscape of limestone and scrub brush are abundant hidden resources. The village of Les Baux de Provence, perched on a rocky cliff that dominates the entire valley, looks like a medieval hamlet that was frozen in time. It is this timeless context that serves as the backdrop for one of the most beautiful luxury hotels in the vicinity of Arles : Baumanière les Baux-de-Provence.

The welcoming establishment reflects its philosophy: beautiful manners and art of living. This perspective is expressed throughout the restored Provencal farmhouse, from its rooms and suites to its gastronomic restaurant.
